Studio Cancellation, Transfer, and Refund Policies

Classes and Packages

You may purchase classes and packages in the studio or online.  Single classes purchased in advance expire 3 months from date of purchase. 6 and 10 class packages expire one year from date of purchase.

Monthly membership packages may be purchased online, and renew automatically each month. Your month begins on day of purchase, and is renewed on the same day the following month.  Your membership may be cancelled with written notice (via email), in which case your account will remain active until your current month ends, and then will not be renewed.

Single classes, class packages and monthly membership purchases are all non-refundable. Six and 10 class packages may be shared with family members. Single classes and unused 6 and 10 class packages may be transferred to another student with studio approval.  Monthly membership purchases are non-transferable.

Weekly classes and packages are not transferable to workshops, events, or class series, as those fall under a separate pricing structure.

The Annual Pass is available for purchase as a special sale only in January, and is good for a full year. This pass is non-refundable, and non- transferable.

Workshops and Events

Refunds will be given for cancellations up to 48 hours prior to the workshop or event, unless otherwise noted in workshop description. Written request for refund is required. After specified refund date, no refunds are given. Purchases may be transferred to another student for that same event with studio approval.  If the event is a repeating event, pass may be transferred to a future event with studio and teacher approval. Request for transfers must be in writing.

Please Note: In some cases with guest teachers and/or continuing education events, there may be different refund policies. If this is the case, the refund policy will be explained on the web page corresponding to workshop or event.

Class Series

Refunds will be given with request in writing up to a week before the start date of the first class. Your full series payment reserves your spot for the entire series, so there are no refunds after that date.  Purchase of a series may be transferred to another student up to 24 hours prior to the start of the series, and only with teacher approval.  After that, purchases are neither refundable nor transferable.

Gift Certificates

Refunds are not available for gift certificates.  Gift certificates should be redeemed by the date listed on the certificate. Once the gift certificate is redeemed, the above policies regarding expiration dates apply.

Private Sessions

To cancel a private session without incurring a fee, you must cancel 48 hours prior to the session. If not, you may be charged a cancellation fee, the amount depending on individual instructor policy. No shows without notice will be charged the full price of the session.

Class Cancellation by Studio

If a class, workshop, or event is cancelled by the studio for any reason, you will be notified by email and/or phone, and you will receive a full refund. If you prefer, credit may be applied to your account for future classes.
